Per chequePer year

An estimate using the published 2026 federal and provincial rates, CPP/QPP and EI. It assumes employment income only, the basic personal amounts and no other credits — your real cheque can differ a little (benefits, union dues, mid-year rate changes, low-income reductions in Ontario and BC).

Frequently asked

How accurate is it?

It uses the 2026 federal and provincial brackets, basic personal amounts, CPP and CPP2, EI, the Canada employment amount, Ontario’s surtax and health premium, and Quebec’s QPP and QPIP. Real cheques can differ a little because of benefits, union dues and other credits.

Does it work for Quebec?

Yes. Quebec uses QPP instead of CPP, adds QPIP, has a lower EI rate, and gets the 16.5% federal abatement — all included.

Does an RRSP contribution lower my tax?

Yes. Enter your yearly RRSP contributions and they come off your taxable income, the same way they do on your tax return.

Is my salary saved?

No. Everything is worked out in your browser. Only your province and pay frequency are remembered on this device.
