What Northline is for

Northline is a free WordPress business theme for agencies, consultants, trades and professional services. The front page is assembled from Customizer sections — hero, services, stats, testimonials and a call to action — so you can launch a credible company site without installing a page builder.

Installing it

Download the zip — northline.zip, 92 KB. Do not unzip it.
In WordPress, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
Choose the zip and press Install Now, then Activate.
Set it up under Appearance → Customize — colours, menus, layout and the front-page sections all live there.

Installing by FTP instead? Unzip it and upload the northline folder into wp-content/themes/, then activate it from Appearance → Themes.

Frequently asked

Do I need a page builder?

No. The whole front page is assembled from Customizer sections, so you edit it live with instant preview and no extra plugins.

Can I reorder the front-page sections?

Yes. Appearance → Customize → Front Page Sections lets you turn each section on or off and drag them into the order you want.

Will it work with Contact Form 7 or WPForms?

Yes. The call-to-action band and the contact template both accept a shortcode, so any form plugin drops straight in.

Can I use my own colours?

Yes. The Customizer exposes the accent, secondary and text colours, and they flow through to the block editor palette automatically.
