Inkwell
Ⓦ Blog & MagazineA clean, fast magazine theme for people who actually write.
A WooCommerce theme that stays out of the way of the checkout.
Tradewind is a free WooCommerce WordPress theme for small online shops. It gives you a clean filterable product grid, a slide-out cart drawer, and a checkout stripped of navigation and upsells so fewer people abandon it. Works perfectly well as a normal site theme if WooCommerce is not installed.
Installing by FTP instead? Unzip it and upload the tradewind folder into wp-content/themes/, then activate it from Appearance → Themes.
Only if you want a shop. Without WooCommerce, Tradewind behaves as an ordinary blog and page theme — nothing breaks and no errors appear.
It declares support for WooCommerce 8.0 and later, including the newer block-based cart and checkout.
Yes. Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Product Catalog sets rows and columns, and the grid stays responsive on phones.
Deliberately. Removing the header navigation and cross-sells from checkout is one of the few reliably measurable ways to reduce cart abandonment.
WordPress themes are GPL v2+, Shopify themes are MIT. Either way: use it on client sites, change it, rename it, sell the site you built with it. There is no “pro” version being withheld and no licence key.
The download button is a download button. We do not ask who you are and there is nothing to unsubscribe from afterwards.
No Google Fonts, no analytics, no external requests of any kind. Everything the theme needs is inside the zip, which is also why they are small.
Every theme works with the block editor and the Customizer alone. None of them require a plugin to look like the demo.
