Terms of Service

Welcome to Brolic! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Brolic mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To use Brolic, you must:

Be at least 13 years of age
If under 18, have parental or guardian consent
Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws

2. Account Registration

2.1 Account Creation

To access most features, you must create an account with a valid email address, unique username, and password. You may also sign up using Apple ID or Google account.

2.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, all activities under your account, and ensuring your account information is accurate.

3. User Content

3.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post ("User Content"), including workout posts, comments, profile information, and video proof links.

3.2 License to Brolic

By posting User Content, you grant Brolic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the service.

3.3 Content Standards

You agree NOT to post content that:

Is illegal, harmful, or fraudulent
Infringes intellectual property rights
Contains hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
Is sexually explicit or promotes violence
Is spam or unauthorized advertising
Encourages unsafe fitness practices

4. Fitness Disclaimer

NOT MEDICAL ADVICE: Brolic is a fitness tracking and social platform. Content is for informational purposes only and is NOT medical advice, professional fitness training, or a substitute for professional consultation.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: By using Brolic, you acknowledge:

Physical exercise carries inherent risks
You should consult a physician before starting any exercise program
You are solely responsible for your fitness activities
Brolic is not liable for any injuries or health issues

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Pro Subscription

Monthly	$2.99 USD/month
Yearly	$19.99 USD/year

5.2 Billing

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
Cancel via your Apple ID account settings

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests must be directed to Apple as they handle all payments.

6. Karma System

Free users receive 10 karma daily; Pro users receive 100 karma daily
Karma is for promoting posts and has no monetary value
Karma cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged
Manipulation of the karma system may result in account termination

7. Trainers

Brolic allows Pro users to list themselves as trainers. Important notes:

Brolic does not verify trainer credentials or qualifications
Brolic is not responsible for trainer-client relationships
Users should verify trainer credentials independently
Trainers must maintain required certifications and insurance

8. Challenges

By joining a challenge, you agree to submit accurate data and accept the rules. Cheating, including submitting false data, will result in disqualification and potential account suspension.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Interfere with the App's operation
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
Manipulate rankings or karma systems
Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
Post false or misleading workout data

10. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding User Content) are owned by Brolic, including trademarks, logos, software, design, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via Settings or by contacting support@brolic.io. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, accuracy of user-generated content, or that the App is free of viruses.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BROLIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Brolic in the past 12 months, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brolic from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting support@brolic.io. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you by posting updated Terms and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
