Terms of use
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms are between you and The Big Head ("we"), who runs Available from Canada.
The service
Available gives a business an app to manage its calendar and a public booking page its clients use without an account. It's free right now. If that ever changes, we'll tell you well in advance and nothing will be charged without your agreement. We don't process payments.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the team members you invite. Owners can change roles and remove people at any time.
What you can't use it for
- Escort, sexual or adult services of any kind, or anything illegal in Canada.
- Clinical health services where you're a "custodian" under Alberta's Health Information Act (we can't host those records yet).
- Sending people messages they didn't ask for. The service only sends appointment messages; don't add people who haven't booked or agreed to be contacted.
- Misleading listings, fake businesses or anything that harasses or endangers people.
We can remove a listing or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it's safe to, we'll tell you why first.
Your clients' information
You decide what you collect from your clients and you're responsible for having a reason to collect it. We look after it for you as described in the privacy policy, and you can export or delete it at any time.
Open Chairs
Listing is optional and free, and we never take a cut of your bookings. Every listing is reviewed before it's public and can be taken down if it's reported and breaks these terms. Changing your business name sends the listing back for a quick review.
Availability
We work hard to keep bookings running, but the service is provided "as is". We aren't responsible for missed appointments or lost income caused by outages, wrong information you entered, or emails that don't arrive. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to CAD $100.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Account). If you're the only person on the team, your business closes: your clients' upcoming appointments are cancelled and they're emailed, and your data is deleted after 30 days.
