Terms of Use

Welcome to MMA SOCIAL. By using the app or the mma.social website, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written to be readable.

1. The service

MMA SOCIAL is a free MMA fan community offering fan-voted rankings, free Fantasy Pick'em, head-to-head polls, event information, and fighter statistics. Content is provided for entertainment and informational purposes.

2. Your account

• You may create an account with Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile menu → Edit Profile, or by contacting us.

3. Fantasy Pick'em — no wagering

Fantasy Pick'em is a free, entertainment-only game. There are no entry fees, no wagers, and no cash or prizes of monetary value. It is a game of fan knowledge, not gambling.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automation to vote, pick, or scrape the service.
• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing.
• Impersonate others, manipulate rankings or leaderboards, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post (picks, votes, comments). By posting, you grant MMA SOCIAL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute it within the service. You are responsible for the content you submit.

6. Intellectual property & affiliation

The MMA SOCIAL name, design, and original content are ours. Fighter names, records, and event details are used for informational and fan purposes. MMA SOCIAL is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Zuffa, or any other promotion or organization.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." Rankings, ELO ratings, statistics, and results are compiled from various sources and may contain errors or delays. Nothing here is betting, financial, or professional advice. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMA SOCIAL will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us — which, for a free service, is zero.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Apple App Store

These terms are between you and MMA SOCIAL, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list, and you agree to comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app.

11. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
