Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the MMA SOCIAL app and website (mma.social) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us — we're happy to explain.

Who we are

MMA SOCIAL ("we", "us") is an independent MMA fan community. We operate the MMA SOCIAL iOS app and the mma.social website. The app is a native experience built on the same service, so your account and activity are shared between them.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we receive your email address, a display name, and an identifier from your sign-in method (Sign in with Apple, Google, or email/password). Passwords, if you use one, are stored only as a secure hash — we never see them.
Content you create. Your fantasy picks, poll and ranking votes, event ratings, and any comments you post.
Push notification token. If you enable notifications, we store the device token Apple issues so we can send the alerts you opt into. You can turn this off any time in iOS Settings.
Usage data. Basic analytics about which pages and features are used, collected via Google Analytics, to help us improve the app.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, health data, or payment information. The app is free and has no in-app purchases.

How we use your information

To provide the service — rankings, fantasy, polls, stats — and keep your account in sync across the app and website.
To send notifications you have chosen to receive.
To secure the service, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
To understand aggregate usage and improve features.

How your information is shared

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We share data only with the service providers that make the app work:

Apple — Sign in with Apple and the Apple Push Notification service.
Google — Google Sign-In and Google Analytics.
Our hosting provider — which stores the data on our behalf.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Sign in with Apple & Hide My Email. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only receive Apple's private relay address — never your real one.

Your choices and rights

Delete your account. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from Profile menu → Edit Profile in the app, or by emailing us. We remove your data within 30 days.
Notifications. Turn them on or off in iOS Settings → Notifications → MMA SOCIAL.
Access & correction. Email us to request a copy of your data or to correct it.

Data retention & security

We keep your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

MMA SOCIAL is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app.
