How do I report a dirty spot?

Tap the camera button, add a photo, choose what it is (garbage dump, plastic, blocked drain and so on) and how big it is, check the pin on the map and tap Post report. It appears on the live map straight away.

How do I mark a spot as cleaned?

Open the spot, tap I’ll clean this to let others know you’re on it, and after cleaning tap Mark as cleaned and add an after photo from the same angle. Your before/after slider then appears in the feed.

How do I earn Swachh Points?

• Report a dirty spot: +10
• Clean a spot: +50, plus 5 per bag (up to 20 bags)
• A spot you reported gets cleaned: +10
• Verify someone else’s cleanup: +5
• Join a cleanup drive: +15
• Organise a drive: +20, and +30 plus 5 per bag when you complete it

Weekly leaderboards reset every Monday (India time). Help out on consecutive days to build a streak.

How do cleanup drives work?

Go to Drives → Organise a cleanup drive. Pick a meeting point, date and time, list what to bring and share the invite on WhatsApp. People who join get a reminder the day before. After the drive, the organiser can post photos and the number of bags collected.

How does UPI support work?

You can add your UPI ID in You → Edit profile. Others can then open their own UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any other) from your profile to thank you. It’s optional, 100% goes to you, and CleanConnect never handles the money or takes a cut.

Someone posted something offensive or fake. What do I do?

Tap the ⋯ menu on the spot, drive, comment or profile and choose Report or Block. Blocked people’s content disappears for you immediately. We review every report within 24 hours.

The garbage pile is too big to clean by hand.

Open the spot and tap Write to the municipality. CleanConnect drafts a complaint with the photo, a map link and the number of residents who confirmed it, ready to send to your municipal corporation, ward office or MLA.

Can I use the app in Hindi?

Yes. CleanConnect follows your iPhone’s language. To change it for this app only, open Settings → Apps → CleanConnect → Language.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to You → Settings (gear) → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile and your content. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Where did my old video posts go?

CleanConnect 2.0 is a complete rebuild focused on photo reports, before/afters and drives. Older video-link posts from version 1 are no longer shown. You can sign in with the same Apple or Google account.
