No. PocketCloser works fully offline using an on-device AI engine — no key, no account, no internet required. Adding your own OpenAI key is optional and simply improves the quality of the lead extraction and messages.
Go to Settings → AI & API Key, paste your sk-… key, and tap Save. It's stored encrypted in your device's Keychain and is only used to make requests to OpenAI on your behalf.
Yes. Your leads, notes and follow-ups are stored on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to connect your own OpenAI key — and even then, only the note you process is sent. See our Privacy Policy.
Each lead gets a 0–100 score based on signals like urgency, budget, contact info and buying intent. 80+ is hot 🔥, 50–79 is warm, below 50 is cold. It's a quick way to know who to call first.
