Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FleetDock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FleetDock is a fleet management application designed for trucking companies to:

Track and manage cross-dock flatbed trailers
Record driver pickups and assignments
Document load securement with photos and checklists
Monitor trailer readiness status
Maintain operational records and history

3. Authorized Use

FleetDock is intended for use by authorized personnel of trucking companies and logistics operations. You agree to:

Use the App only for legitimate business purposes
Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
Comply with all applicable transportation regulations

4. User Responsibilities

Important: FleetDock is a record-keeping and tracking tool. Users remain fully responsible for:

Proper load securement according to DOT/FMCSA regulations
Physical inspection of equipment and trailers
Safety compliance and driver qualifications
Accuracy of entered data and documentation

5. Equipment Checklists

The equipment checklists (chains, binders, straps, wood blocks, hand ratchets, corner protectors) are provided as a digital record-keeping tool. Completion of a checklist in the App does not replace physical inspection requirements.

6. Photo Documentation

Photos uploaded to FleetDock are stored for operational documentation purposes. You are responsible for ensuring photos accurately represent trailer and load conditions.

7. Location Services

FleetDock may use device location services to record trailer positions. Location data is used solely for fleet management and logistics purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. The Big Head is not liable for:

Load securement failures or cargo damage
Accidents, injuries, or equipment damage
Regulatory violations or fines
Data entry errors or system downtime
Any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Big Head from any claims arising from your use of FleetDock, including violations of transportation regulations or safety requirements.

10. Data Ownership

Data entered into FleetDock remains the property of your organization. We do not claim ownership of your operational data.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to FleetDock for violations of these Terms or misuse of the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
